The Waterberg Area
The Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, in the heart of the Waterberg in the Limpopo Province, is a privately owned game reserve that stretches over 34 000 hectares. First started as a conservation area in the early 90's, this area is game reserve is situated on the Waterberg Plateau with mountainous terrain with deep valleys and kloofs. The flat plateaus characterise most hilltops and the altitude varies between
1080 meters above sea level (main entrance in the North) and 1800 meters above sea level in the southern area of the game reserve.
