The Eagle Tented Lodge and Spa is an opulent, 5-star lodge, constructed using natural stone and thatch and comprising 8 canvas tents, providing the discerning guest with fantastic luxury in home-away-from-home hospitality. This lodge is nestled within Namibia's Etosha National Park, amongst deep valleys and towering mountains.
Each tent is tastefully furnished and aims to ensure the ultimate comfort of our guests. En-suite facilities and a raised wooden balcony comes standard, as does the splash pool and tea- and coffee facilities. The en-suite contains a shower, toilet and basin.
The Eagle Tented Lodge and Spa boasts two restaurants, a bar, a pool bar, swimming pool and Health & Beauty Spa, which is equipped with all the pampering essentials. These include mud baths, aromatic baths, manicures, facials, pedicures, massages, hydrotherapy, yoga and Thelaso therapy. Some therapy baths are located outside, taking advantage of the spectacular environment in which the lodge is hidden.
Because The Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa is situated within 21 000 hectares of prime game reserve (in the Epacha Private Game Reserve), game viewing is ideal. These can be conducted in the park itself during the day or night, allowing guests to spot rare and varied animals when they choose to be most active. Alternatively, game drives to the Etosha National Park as well as guided walks through the reserve are fantastic experiences, and are definitely recommended to our esteemed guests. The Epacha reserve is, in itself, home to over 20 species of antelope, the endangered Black Rhino and the threatened Sable antelope.
The Epacha Private Game Reserve in Namibia is clearly one of the game-rich destination assists in that defining Namibia as a tourist Mecca for those wanting to experiences the wild heart of Africa. The reserve borders on the world-famous Etosha National Park, and was initially created as a wildlife sanctuary. In fact, it is in this reserve that Black Rhinos and Sable antelope are particularly focused on and protected as part of formal programmes. Because of its proximity to Etosha, it also acts as the ideal base from which to explore Namibia from the comfort and luxury of chic tents.
In order to benefit from the stunning surrounds, the lodge has been constructed in such a way that these are as visible and accessible as possible. The local culture is also integrated by the inclusion of a custom-designed courtyard with wood carvings.
Apart from the day-and night-drives through Epacha Private Game Reserve, game drives to Etosha, and guided walks, guests are also able to stay closer to camp and relax. Sundowner drives, horse riding and clay pigeon shooting are all on offer. Alternatively, a scenic flight is a memorable way to experience the beauty of this area.

Should you be driving to Eagle Tented Lodge and Spa from Windhoek, take the Okahandja road, onto Otjiwarongo, and then in the Outjo direction to Okaukuejo. From there, turn left onto district road 2695, which you will follow for 27km. The Epacha gate will appear on your right.

The lodge offers a transfer service to and from Windhoek, which takes 4.5 hours by road and 1 hour 45 minutes by air.
