The Kalahari is home to the luxurious Zebra Lodge Kalahari, where relaxation and comfort come standard. This lodge is nestled among acacia trees, red sand dunes and open grassy plains - a magnificent setting from which to experience Africa. Zebra Lodge Kalahari accommodates up to 26 guests in its twin-bed suites.

All rooms have air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms and the convenient amenities that the discerning guest expects of a luxury
lodge. Décor is understated, and oozes a sense of old-world elegance. Once well rested, guests are welcome to explore the Kalahari in open 4 x 4 safari vehicles or accompany a trained guide on an informative bush walk. Alternatively, relax at the pool, or watch the waterhole from the comfort of the lounge.

Zebra Lodge Kalahari is situated within the larger Intu Afrika Kalahari Private
Game Reserve; 10 000 hectares of gorgeous wildlife sanctuary in the south-western corner of the Kalahari Desert. This reserve runs along some of the Auob river system, which originates from Namibia, and is distinguished from similar offerings by its red sand dunes that run parallel to one another. These are home to a small amount of vegetation that is unique to these dunes, making it a very special experience. Between these dunes are green plains inhabited by the iconic camelthorn tree. These lush areas are retreats for the animals requiring shelter
and vegetation.

Kalahari with a bushman tracker provides a fascinating insight into ancient traditions, survival secrets, and history. Quadbiking is a fantastic alternative.

Location of the Zebra Lodge, Kalahari (Namibia) Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve - District road D1268 From Windhoek, drive to Rehoboth on the B1, towards Kalkrand. Before reaching Kalkrand, turn left onto the C21 and travel for 48km. Turn onto the D1268 for 22km. The Intu Afrika entrance gate is on your right-hand side.

Access to the Zebra Lodge / Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve can be by road (3 hours) or air (50 minutes).
