The Thandeka Lodge is situated in the malaria-free Thandeka Private Game Reserve which is home to an abundant variety of wildlife, birds and flora. The Lodge and Game Reserve can be easily accessed by a short two hour scenic drive from Johannesburg. Thandeka Lodge The main building of Thandeka Lodge is an interesting mixture of the elegance of a bygone colonial era and contemporary luxury and comfort. The main lodge comprises the dining room, lounge, and conference room as well as an inviting swimming pool which is the ideal venue to enjoy a cocktail and view the spectacular African sunset.  |

| Accommodation
Is in the form of individual, luxurious tented-lodges, each one uniquely decorated and blending with the splendour of the surrounding bush. Thandeka Lodge comprises a total of 20 beds : 2 luxury tents accommodating 2 adults and 4 luxury family tents featuring a main room accommodating 2 adults and a second room which accommodates either 2 children or another 2 adults, within the same tent with both rooms sharing one full bathroom. Each tent with its private sala is tucked away separately in the bush ensuring privacy. The Thandeka Game Lodge caters for both couples and families including weddings, honeymoons and other special occasions. Each en-suite room has been individually named and decorated adding to the unique experience for guests visiting this lodge. Bathrooms feature beautiful sunken polished-sandstone baths from which to view the endless African plains. Rooms also feature bar facilities and private viewing decks (salas). Dining : Guests are invited to enjoy their 3 daily meals in the magnificent dining room at the main lodge or may opt to have their breakfast or dinner in the privacy of their own tented suite or on their private sala.
