Five-star luxury meets ideal locale at the Shishangeni Private Game Lodge in the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Kruger is best known for spectacular game viewing, and is frequented by international visitors. Shishangeni enjoys 15 000 hectares of this prime location, just 500km from Johannesburg and 142km from Nelspruit. Shishangeni is an ideal venue for families, corporate travellers and honeymooners. Childcare facilities are available on request.

Game drives are conducted by professional guides in the mornings and evenings, and guarantee an up-close glimpse into the mysterious lifestyles of the Big 5. Alternatively, guided walks provide visitors with an opportunity to see magnificent birdlife and the smaller members of our wildlife family at their leisure.

Accommodation

22 chalets, each sleeping two people, are idyllically outfitted with fireplaces, romantic bathrooms, and private deck. The outdoor shower allows for the liberating experience of showering in the midst of wildest Africa.
Dining

Superior dining is part of the Shishangeni promise as both a la carte and buffet menus are available, and can either be enjoyed in the outdoor Boma or in the exclusive private dining room. Those wanting to enjoy their dining experience under the African sky can arrange for bush dinners and breakfasts.

Conferencing Modern facilities accommodate up to 44 delegates in Cinema and Auditorium style, although smaller groups may prefer Boardroom (16), U-shape (24), Schoolroom (32) or Banquet (24). Conference facilities are fully-equipped, soundproof and air-conditioned for ultimate comfort.

Directions

By air

Fly to KMIA, (the nearest airport). Drive to the N4 through Malelane, stay on the N4 for about 40km until the left turn into Komatipoort. Drive through the town of Komatipoort towards Crocodile Bridge gate (8km). Once inside the Kruger National Park, travel for 4km and cross the Vurhami bridge. Turn right at the first Shishangeni Lodge sign board onto a gravel road. Turn right at the second sign board for Shishangeni Lodge (no entry sign). Drive for about another 10km. This road will take you straight to the lodge.

By road

Drive through the town of Komatipoort towards Crocodile Bridge gate (8km). Once inside the Kruger National Park, travel for 4km and cross the Vurhami bridge. Turn right at the first Shishangeni Lodge sign board onto a gravel road. Turn right at the second sign board for Shishangeni Lodge (no entry sign). Drive for about another 10km. This road will take you straight to the lodge.
