Shiduli Private Game Lodge

LODGE IN DRAKENSBERG
KWAZULU NATAL, SOUTH AFRICA

Shiduli Private Game Lodge boasts an impressive array of Africa's wildest life, including the elephant, lion, and cheetah. Added to these are a myriad bird species, as well as a diverse range of interesting vegetation. The lodge has succeeding in creating a spirit of fun, combined with true style and elegance.

Refreshing sundowners can be enjoyed on the banks of the waterhole for an exceptional African experience. Guests are urged to embark on a short hike, where they will be taken to the lookout point for unbeatable views of the surrounding bushveld. The nocturnal animals are completely different from those that enjoy the daytime heat, so night drives are a must for those guests who want to get the most out of their game viewing.

To ensure that guests are always comfortable in our hospitable lodge, amenities include air-conditioning, a comfy lounge and two licensed bars. Modern conference facilities provide our corporate guests with a discreet venue in which to conduct important seminars, team-building exercises, and so on.

Traditional African dancers are a fantastic backdrop to dinners under the African skies, or under the protection of a traditional Boma. The braai (barbecue) is a firm favourite in South Africa, and a major part of the culture. Enjoyed alongside the pool, this is a very popular way to relax in the warmth of the sunset.

Shiduli Private Game Lodge has won awards for the superior quality of our game viewing, and we are particularly proud of our high success rate with regard to sightings of the popular Big Five.

Sundowners keep guests well hydrated as they sip exotic flavours alongside the teeming watering hole. The impressive Drakensberg Mountains as well as the spectacular savannah can be viewed from the lookout point.

Nearby attractions include the Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrims Rest and the Three Rondawels. Owing to this prime location, Shiduli is an ideal base from which to explore South Africa and all it has to offer. Particularly important is the opportunity to see the animals and vegetation from the comfort of open-vehicle safaris.
