Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve is situated in Sabi Sand Reserve within the world renowned Kruger National Park. Since its inception in 1978 visitors to this unique and luxurious safari camp have been enthralled by the surrounding African wildlife in their natural habitat.

Accommodation:

Accommodation at award-winning Sabi Sabi consists of three luxurious, air-conditioned, all-suite lodges each with its own unique theme. The turn-of-the-century, lantern lit, magical Selati Camp (8 suites), the contemporary Bush Lodge (25 suites) and the internationally-acclaimed Earth Lodge (13 suites).

Selati Camp
The intimate all-suite Selati Camp is furnished with a historic Railway theme including original steam engine name plates, signals and other memorabilia in the lounge, collector's pieces in each room and shunter's lamps lighting the way. The 8 luxury thatched suites, each with full bathroom en-suite and private outside shower compliment the surrounding bush. Home-cooked cuisine is served on decks overlooking the river-bed, in the open air "boma" or in the "farmhouse kitchen".

Selati Camp combines turn of the century elegance with the ultimate in luxury, comfort and personal service - a true home from home in the African bush.

Bush Lodge
The contemporary Bush Lodge is set in the heart of the Sabi Sabi bushveld overlooking a water-hole and a grassland plain. The air-conditioned thatched suites feature ethnic décor in keeping with the surrounding environment. The lodge itself is characterized by open courtyards with spectacular wooden carvings by renowned South African sculptors, created from wood salvaged from the bushveld.

Earth Lodge
At one with Wild Africa and almost undetectable in the landscape, the Earth Lodge is inspired by the textures, colours and shapes of the natural world. A corridor leads down, on a journey beneath the ground, inviting the visitor to a unique and unforgettable experience which includes dining in a subterranean cellar.

Activities:

Safari / Game Drives
Each morning and evening in open land rovers accompanied by specially-trained, armed game rangers and trackers. Safaris traverse a variety of habitats off road and deep into the bush offering opportunities to view a wide range of animals including lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, elephant and cheetah.

Game Walks
After breakfast guided walking trails offer the opportunity to experience the natural environment on foot. Accompanied by skilled and dedicated rangers guests can learn about some 300 bird species and 200 animal species in a nature wonderland.
