Situated amidst ostrich farms and en route to the world renowned Cango Caves is Rosenhof Country House, an authentically renovated homestead (Circa 1852), with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and a wonderful collection of antique furniture. Nearby Oudtshoorn, on South Africa's Garden Route, enjoys a fine, dry climate with approximately 320 sunshine days per year. Rainfall can be expected the whole year round peaking in spring and autumn while summer brings shortlived but dramatic thundershowers.

Rosenhof Country House takes its name from the beautiful rose garden which leads to elegantly decorated bedrooms, each one tastefully furnished with selected antiques. All rooms at the Rosenhof County House have air-conditioning, satellite television, telephone, mini bar and tea trays. The two Executive Suites each have their own private patio, lounge and pool, with tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountain.

Visitors to the picturesque Rosenhof Country House can relax in the cosy pub or one of the several luxurious lounges with fireplaces and admire the fine collection of art by famous South African artists. In summer guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the spacious sparkling pool or order tea in the landscaped gardens. Dining at Rosenhof Country House is a combination of traditional country cuisine with a cordon bleu touch complimented by a selection of fine local and international wines.

Breakfast is a most enjoyable experience, served in the sunny breakfast room overlooking the beautiful gardens and swimming pool.

The two exclusive executive suites have their own private swimming pools and are located a distance from the main house for extra privacy.
All rooms at the Rosenhof Guest House are suitable for disabled guests. Featuring every imaginable comfort, including remote-controlled air-conditioning and television, each room boasts an en-suite bathroom with marble top finishes and separate baths and showers. Other features include a telephone, minibar and coffee/tea making facilities.

The Rosenhof Guest House also caters for the business executive. Conference facilities are available in a beautifully converted old wagon-house where up to 30 people can be accommodated.
