NORTH WEST LODGE ACCOMMODATION

Exclusive and luxurious, the 5 star Rhulani Safari Lodge is situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve in the North West Province. This game reserve is home to the "Big 5" including the Black Rhino, Cheetah and the endangered Wild Dog.

The Madikwe Game Reserve, which comprises 75,000 hectares, was originally established in 1991 to restore and return the land to its former natural state.

In a unique partnership between the state, local communities and private enterprise this land has been transformed by way of the largest, phased game translocation operation ever undertaken worldwide.

Accommodation :

The main lodge exudes a tranquil atmosphere ideal for relaxation and contemplation. Guests are invited to soak up the sounds of the African bush whilst relaxing under majestic Marula trees which surround the refreshing rock pool with cascading waterfall or enjoy game viewing and magnificent views from the main lodge or luxury chalets.

Exclusive facilities such as private plunge pools add little touches of luxury.

Dining :

Experience unique traditional South African cuisine whilst dining under the magnificent African night sky warmed by a roaring fire and accompanied by a selection of world-class South African wines.

Activities :

Guests are offered exciting game viewing opportunities be it from an open safari vehicle or on foot with the experienced game ranger. Game viewing is also possible from the comfort of the lodge itself as a nearby water-hole is frequented by many species of game.

Conference Facilities :

The conference centre at the Rhulani Safari Lodge accommodates up to 30 delegates and features a unique leadwood conference table. Nine chalets are available which can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests. Overflow can be accommodated at the neighbouring 5 star game lodges.
