Private and charming, the exclusive Pitse Lodge is situated in the magnificent, malaria-free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, Limpopo Province.

For those discerning guests requiring elegant living in the African bush, look no further than The Pitse Lodge. A family home, this Lodge is available as an exclusive use residence for up to 10 guests, offering complete privacy and personal service.

Situated in a game rich area of the Welgevonden Game Reserve, Pitse Lodge overlooks wide open grassy plains inhabited by lion, white rhino, elephant, zebra, wildebeest, klipspringer, eland, waterbuck, mountain reedbuck, hartebeest, warthog, impala, brown hyena and many more. These species often visit the lawns of the Lodge and guests are able to view them from their private decks.

At Pitse Lodge 5 luxurious and stylishly decorated en-suite thatch and stone chalets compliment the impressive main lodge with its peaceful, spacious lounges, a library, dining area and surrounding decks boasting panoramic views of the plains and distant mountains. Fireside, candlelit dinners are offered in the outside boma, open to the stars and accompanied by the sounds of the bush, where fine African cuisine with a European influence and excellent South African wines are served.

Pitse Lodge offers the following facilities :

Activities :

As the Lodge is let to private parties, activities can be centred around the guests' requirements. Game drives and walks at any time of the day or night, picnics and visits to the lodge's breeding facility for roan, sable antelope and buffalo can be arranged at the guest's convenience.
