Situated in the heart of big-game country on Kruger National Park land, this unique tented camp offers an extraordinary game-viewing experience combined with world class standards of comfort and luxury in the African bush.

Ngala Private Game Reserve consists of an exclusive Game Lodge, a luxurious Tented Safari Camp and a Wilderness Walking Safari Camp.

Ngala Game Lodge
With a romantic, colonial ambience 20 thatched chalets with en- suite bathrooms and private verandas and the luxurious Safari Suite overlook the Mapone riverbed. A large sparkling swimming pool overlooks the natural riverine system.

Ngala Tented Safari Camp
Beautifully situated on the banks of the great Timbavati River, 6 luxurious tented suites feature en suite bathrooms with spacious baths and outdoor showers. A lap pool merging with the contours of the riverbank offers a great opportunity for laid-back game viewing. Rated in the US Conde Nast Traveler's "Hot List", this gracious camp has a contemporary feel. Guest areas feature retro pieces from the 50s, 60s and 70s and beautiful timber decks, which overlook the seasonal riverbed.

Dining:

The main thatched dining, bar and sitting areas are open to the African bushveld, and the large swimming pool overlooks a busy waterhole with frequent elephant sightings. Delicious and varied Afro-European cuisine is served in the candle- and lantern-lit courtyard or in the boma (outdoor dining area). Superb bush banqueting is offered in spectacular settings in the African wilderness.

Unforgettable twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles led by expert rangers and Shangaan trackers or guided, interpretive wilderness walks.

Ngala's Walking Safaris
A 4 day, 3 night adventure in the Kruger National Park wilderness. Fully serviced with the emphasis on guest safety and comfort, this is an exceptional interpretive experience. Attention is focused on micro eco-systems on the 5 hour morning and one hour evening walks followed by an exciting night game drive.
