Mjejane River Lodge is committed to showcasing some of South Africa's most stunning landscapes within the privacy and intimacy of the Mjejane Game Reserve. Perched along the banks of the glorious Crocodile River, this area boasts prime game viewing opportunities, coupled with world-class service, stunning amenities and an aura of sheer relaxation.

Being in the heart of such exquisite beauty and adjoining the globally-renowned Kruger National Park, guests are sure to enjoy the animal tracking, bush walks, sunshine and wildlife that surround them. Once owned and run by traditional Chief Lugedlane, the land was handed over to younger generations with an increased understanding and more resources to ensure the care and conservation of this valuable treasure. Check-in is at 14h00 and check-out at 10h00.

Accommodation

The Mjejane River Lodge offers Suites, Double Rooms and Twin Rooms to accommodate the unique needs of all of our esteemed guests. All of these rooms have en-suite bathrooms with inviting baths, a hairdryer, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and a private patio that boasts stunning views of the Crocodile River.

Facilities

For guests that can tear themselves away from the comfort and hospitality of their suites, the hotel is equipped with golf facilities, as well as a bar, which is the ideal venue to catch up with your spouse, colleagues or friends while sipping on a refreshing beverage or nightcap. The sparkling waters of the outdoor swimming pool lure guests for a refreshing dip after a day spent enjoying the bushveld and river banks.
Dining

After an exciting day exploring, or one spent lazing around the swimming pool, a hearty meal is an absolute must. Guests are invited to the dining room to enjoy A-la-Carte or buffet options in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Conferencing

In addition to excellent leisure accommodation, Mjejane is also ideal for conferences and delegates. Conference venues are modern and can accommodate up to 20 delegates at a time. Interestingly, the lodge has introduced distinct African flavours to the conference experience, guaranteeing a unique approach to brainstorming.

Activities

Set within such gorgeous surrounds, visitors are urged to explore these at their leisure. Game drives promise stunning views and close-up encounters with the local fauna and flora. Avian enthusiasts are reminded to bring their binoculars to spot some of the many different species. In addition, guests can take their vehicles for a private game drive through the Kruger National Park.

Location

The Mjejane River Lodge is situated within close proximity to most of South Africa's main epicentres. It is approximately four hours from Gauteng and the OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and only 45 minutes from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.

Mjejane River Lodge and the Game Reserve are about 2.5 kilometres from Hectorspruit along the N4 motorway. They appear on the left-hand side of the road between the towns of Malelane and Komatipoort. This proximity means that there are medical facilities, shops, golf courses and attractions within minutes of the lodge.
