Located in picturesque Hermanus, the Marine Hotel is a bastion of comfort and contemporary style and is the perfect getaway for quiet contemplation.

The Marine Hotel overlooks Walker Bay in the famous coastal village of Hermanus. The Edwardian architecture is totally renovated turn-of-the-century colonial and is well suited to it's name - The Marine Hotel. Everything about it is marine, clear and luminous - from the tables of The Orangery to the spacious rooms decorated in a contemporary style.

The Marine Hotel has 45 bedrooms and
suites, encompassing views that extend
across Walker Bay or over the beautiful internal courtyard and manicured gardens and the Overberg mountains. Each well-appointed room is individually decorated and comes with its own private facilities.

The award winning marine cuisine is an expression of two very different styles.

The Seafood at the Marine Hotel is a bright new restaurant in the modern idiom where the only sea view will be on a plate! The atmosphere is informal and busy but with emphasis on fresh fish and great style from the kitchen theatre.

The Pavilion on the other hand, with glorious views of the sea and through the internal courtyard and swimming pool is more traditional in feel. It serves an array of the highest quality dishes with hints of Mediterranean and the East.

Fresh seafood served, of course, in both restaurants and regional wines.

The Orangery is the place to enjoy a cocktail or even afternoon tea with nothing between you and the South Pole - other than 3,000 miles of ocean, or relax in the Reading Room for warm, cosy fireside evenings during
winter.
