Situated along the banks of the Sand River in the 65 000 hectare Sabi Sand Wildtuin, and ecologically integrated with the Kruger National Park, Inyati and similar reserves allow free movement of animals in their natural habitat resulting in unrivalled game viewing. Birdlife is also abundant, and a wide variety of mammal, reptile and insect species are indigenous to the region.

Morning and evening game drives in specially designed Landrovers track deep into the bush with opportunity to view elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, the endangered cheetah and wild dog. At Inyati it is possible to see the Big 5 in a single day - along with giraffe, zebra, hippo and the many varieties of antelope. The evening drive starts with sundowners surrounded by wildest Africa then a night drive where the spotlight and the keen eyes of a tracker pick-up the major predators and shy smaller animals such as genet, porcupine, civet and bush baby.

Guided bush walks exploring all aspects of the bush including trees and grasses, birds and smaller creatures such as insects, beetles, arachnids and reptiles. Guides are guaranteed to enthrall with their exhaustive knowledge.
