Situated in the malaria free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, Limpopo Province, is the exclusive 5 star Emfuleni Game Lodge. This region known as the Waterberg, offers a dramatically diverse bush experience with unique landscapes and eco-systems complimented by a generally mild to warm climate.

Emfuleni Game Lodge is surrounded by uniquely South African terrain varying from open plains, to riverine marshlands, to towering crags and is home to prolific bird life making it a "Birder's" Paradise. The viewing decks at the Lodge offer sightings of a wide variety of game and Welgevonden Game Reserve boasts two Bushman painting sites, which are easily accessible by road.

With its setting in a secluded valley, the elegant 5 star Emfuleni Game Lodge offers a combination of privacy and ultimate luxury in the wild African bush. The Lodge exudes an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity -
offering magnificent views from the deck perched high above the river. A favoured area of early San inhabitants, the Waterberg has always been known as a land of plentiful wildlife and water ensuring the visitor
optimum game viewing. The Welgevonden Private Game Reserve is internationally recognised for its pioneering role in Southern African conservation and is a sanctuary for many rare animals including the Sable, Oryx and Eland as well as Africa's famous Big Five.

Each of five luxurious chalets at the Emfuleni Game Lodge is a private and secluded haven of wood, slate, thatch and glass. The design and understated elegance of the interiors
allow the visitor to be enveloped by the
sights, sounds and smells of the bush. After an exciting game drive or informative nature walk with an armed ranger, guests can relax by the pool with a book, or simply soak up some sun on the deck.
