Dawsons Game and Trout Lodge in Mpumalanga has a unique and beautiful setting at the head of Nelshoogte Pass in the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley between the Highveld and Lowveld. This exclusive Lodge enjoys the benefits of both areas including their specific flora and fauna. Majestic mountains with perennial streams form the Komati River which is the backdrop of wide-open grassland teeming with herds of indigenous buck. Dawsons Game and Trout Lodge is situated in the historical area of Barberton which saw the earliest Gold Rushes taking place amongst the ancient rock sites.

The Lodge offers accommodation of a high standard in the form of eight luxurious double rooms individually decorated in a rich colonial style and featuring a personal fireplace. Each room offers full en-suite bathrooms with an elegant bath, spacious shower and heated towel rails. Exquisite and innovative cuisine is prepared at The Lodge by the highly qualified Chef and served either in the privacy of your own room, on the patio or in the dining room.
