The 5 star Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge is located in the malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve in North West Province. The inception of this luxurious game lodge has contributed to local community upliftment and prides itself on outstanding service, a magnificent location and lavish accommodation.

With the emphasis on privacy, the Buffalo Ridge Safari Lodge offers eight uniquely decorated suites, each with their own deck, providing beautiful views over the African bushveld. This lodge has been carefully designed to blend in with the beauty of the natural surroundings. Decorated in hues and textures inspired by nature, the thatched suites feature sliding doors from each room and showers allowing guests to immerse themselves fully in the atmosphere of the bushveld.

The Madikwe Game Reserve is home to lion, elephant, black and white rhino, buffalo, leopard, cheetah and the wild dog. Giraffe, zebras, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of antelope including kudu, impala, waterbuck, Springbok, Wildebeest, Eland, Blesbok, Tsessebe and Steenbok can also be seen. Open vehicle or walking safaris are accompanied by professional, highly skilled rangers who, with their intimate knowledge of the flora and fauna, are able to interpret interactions between animals and enthral visitors with their local anecdotes.

Daily scheduled flights are operated from Johannesburg International Airport OR Tambo to the Madikwe Airstrip from where transfers are offered to the Lodge.
