During his career as the lead singer of The Springbok Nude Girls and as a solo artist, Arno Carstens has released 10 albums, sold over 150 000 units, had 9 number 1 hits singles, won 4 South African Music Awards (all in the Rock category), toured internationally 8 times and shared the stage with the likes of INXS, The Beastie Boys, Lenny Kravitz, The Cult, Smashing Pumpkins, The Offspring and most recently R.E.M.
Arno’s backing band comprises legendary South African artists; guitarist Albert Frost, Brendan Jury on strings and keyboard, Jerome Reynard on drums and Warren Leicher on bass guitar. The band brings a raw flavour to Arno’s potent rock vocals.
