Unique and exclusive, The Blaauwbosch Game Reserve has a TGCSA 5-star Lodge and is located close to the Addo Elephant Park in the malaria free Eastern Cape. Offering an exhilarating wildlife safari experience which includes viewing of the Big Five, this private game reserve also offers guests luxurious, comfortable accommodation. The spacious chalets at the Game Lodge are air-conditioned and have their own dressing rooms, full bathrooms, personal bathrobes and verandahs with beautiful mountain views. A wide variety of game can be viewed on safari, including lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard, rhino, cheetah, giraffe, zebra and antelope. Game drives are conducted by professional rangers who entertain and inform with their extensive knowledge of the abundant birdlife and rare flora.

The newly established Blaauwbosch Game Lodge is a discrete collection of thatch roofs set with sensitivity in the unspoiled foothills of the Winterhoek mountain range.

The interior of the Lodge is cool and spacious with muted earthy colours and polished floors covered in brightly coloured rugs. Surrounded by the serenity of the African bush, guests cannot help but to relax and unwind.

At Blaauwbosch Game Lodge the emphasis is on fine dining prepared by the resident chef, accompanied by the best of local wines.

The day starts with a sumptuous, delicious breakfast after which guests embark on the early morning game drive. The dinner menu offers African cuisine with fresh contemporary flavours and guests are invited to venture beyond their familiar repertoire of tastes and match food with a fine selection of South African wines.
